Summer is in full affect, and with the warmer months comes dryer, stressed skin. Recently, my husband and I began juicing as a conscious choice to lead a healthier lifestyle. We both wake up excited to try new blends of fruits, veggies, herbs and spices for our morning smoothies. Some days, we even juice in the evening and sit on our deck and enjoy the panoramic views of the valley. Yes, we may need a new hobby, but we are addicted to the feeling we get from juicing!

 

All my combination skin ladies know our skin can go from oily to dry depending on the way the wind blows. Since we've started juicing, I've noticed my skin glows naturally and consistently, my eyes are clearer and brighter and yes, you guessed it my energy is through the roof!  I have a new found respect for the old adage.."you are what you eat." When you're balancing home, career and everything in between, who has the time or money for intensive skin regimens and expensive skin care products?

 

Like anything, its not enough to follow the "trend" of juicing.
